Europe’s most exciting aquatics event will take place in the iconic London Aquatics Centre in May 2016 – and, as well as watching, you can take part!
We are looking for volunteers between May 1 – 29 2016 to help deliver a world-class championships for the continent’s best elite and masters synchronised swimmers, divers and swimmers.
The elite European Aquatics Championships takes place less than three months before the start of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and in an historic first the masters event will be held directly afterwards and we need volunteers for both!

What are the criteria to apply?
- You must be a minimum of 18 years of age on May 1 2016
- You must be available between May 1-29 2016
- You must be available for a minimum of five, seven-hour shifts

When will I hear if I have been successful?
Successful applicants can expect a response in December 2015.
Will accommodation be provided and travel expenses paid?
No accommodation will be provided for the Championships and all volunteers are expected to cover their own travel expenses.
Applicants need to be mindful of accommodation and travel costs they will incur prior to application.
Will I receive any training?
One training day will be provided in conjunction with the event.
How many days will I be needed?
Volunteer shifts are available between May 1-29 2016.
How many hours per day will I work?
Shift lengths will vary depending on the role.
